Strategic Thinking

Issues, Ideas, Projects
Utilize experienced and knowledgeable help to address business issues, ideas or projects.  Entrepreneurs are almost always thinking about what is next.  Talk through the issues, ideas or projects and receive help to define, plan and implement the solutions to issues, an outline for ideas and a work plan for projects.

Key Benefits

Receive experienced help to resolve business issues in an effective manner and gain an understanding of how the issue occurred so you reduce the chances of similar issues in the future
Work with a peer to develop your business idea when you normally would not take the time to do so.  Take the idea to the point of deciding whether to move forward with it.
Projects can be seen by employees as well as owners as an "interference" on the day to day activities of the firm.  Reed can help you to organize the project, including an outline of the goals,  to do's, timeline and cost to achieve the project goals.  She can also help to implement the project plan if needed.

Capabilities

Reed has an extensive background in stepping in to help business owners "get it done" whether that involves resolving an issue, developing an idea or in organizing projects.

Issue Resolution
Including an appointment by a Superior Court Judge as a Special Master acting as temporary CEO, Reed has been called upon many times to step into delicate situations, provide an assessment, recommendations, then either implement, work with the client to do so or secure assistance as needed.  Business issues occur with staff members, business partners, in day to day operations as well as in the economic environment.  Reed is able to quickly assist you with an assessment to determine the best strategic steps to take in resolving the issue.  She also works directly with you to help you to know the best ways to analyze an issue and then be able to implement solutions.
Idea Development
The day to day operations most often take the bulk of energy from business owners and their employees.  The ability to step back and conduct reviews of the business seem like a luxury or are not thought of at all.  Yet, so often the owner or employees may have ideas that can lead to breakthroughs or more profit for the business.  Utilize experienced help to look at your ideas, create an "idea index" then determine which ones to develop further.  Work through one or several to create a resulting project plan.  Based on the results of further review, define whether to proceed with implementing the idea.
Project Organization
Receive direct help in defining the project, including development of an overall schedule.  The schedule will include the specific goals of the project, a timeline, a list of tasks or to do's to be accomplished and an project budget.  Based on the results of the project materials review, a decision then would be made whether to continue with implementing the project.
